Inter Milan wing-back Fede Dimarco has sung the praises of coach Simone Inzaghi.

Inter are now Serie A champions-elect as they sit nine points clear at the top of the table.

Dimarco said, “Inzaghi is a great coach and an exceptional person who makes us all feel good.

“He can make the entire team laugh with his jokes. We are delighted to have him."

Speaking after victory over Atalanta, he also stated: "You can see the strength of the group in the way we help one another on the pitch.

“It wasn't easy to face an Atalanta team that was unbeaten in 2024. So we're happy because it's a very important victory."
