Former SPAL defender Igor is delighted with his move to Fiorentina.

He made his full debut in the 3-0 defeat against Juventus last weekend.

"My job leads me to always be ready, even in my first match against Juventus. My teammates and the coach immediately gave me great support with the aim of making the most of the opportunity," said Igor.

“I don't know how long I will stay here in Florence, but what is certain is that I will give everything.

“I will give my life for this team. It's a great squad and a fantastic opportunity for me.

“In this adventure I will always give my best."

He added: “Since I was a child I dreamed of playing in a great side. I also saw Fiorentina's matches when I was younger and I was immediately happy with the possibility of coming to Florence."
