Former Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder Willian has seen his Corinthians contract terminated by mutual consent.
The veteran is in talks about a return to London with Fulham.
Willian's deal was cancelled after Corinthians' Copa Libertadores quarter-final exit to Flamengo 3-0 on aggregate.
The 34-year-old had agreed a two-year-deal with the Brazilian side before Wednesday's premature termination after just a year.
Goal says he now looks set to secure a shock return to the Premier League after just one year by signing for newly-promoted Fulham, as Marco Silva's side set about avoiding relegation.
