FC Copenhagen coach Jacob Neestrup says new signing Alex Runarsson is on trial.
The former Arsenal goalkeeper signed for FCK last week ahead of this month's Champions League quarterfinal against Manchester City.
Kamil Grabara will join Wolfsburg at the end of the season.
Neestrup told Bold: "There is no secret that Kamil is our first choice. We had an injury over Christmas with Theo Sander, and therefore we have been vulnerable in our goalkeeping team.
"It has been a big goal for us to loan out Andreas Dithmer, who is a talented goalkeeper. We succeeded in that, and therefore we had to get something in.
"Right now it is the case that Kamil Grabara is a fantastic keeper at FC Copenhagen, and then Alex has to come in and will press on with everything he can.
"He comes in and must be ready in case of an injury.
"He and we know that there is a situation in the summer when Kamil changes.
"So he now has five months to convince us that we should look his way in relation to a potential first keeper at FC Copenhagen."
