Philadelphia Union acquisition Jose Kleberson says he is excited to be embarking on the next phase of his career in MLS.
The Brazilian World Cup winner has joined the Union from homeland club Bahia, in exchange for Freddy Adu, and admits he has been interested in North America's top flight ever since fellow former Manchester United midfielder David Beckham joined LA Galaxy in 2007.
"Not only am I going to bring my experience but I will bring that Brazilian football to help the Philadelphia Union," said the 33-year old.
"I've heard a lot about MLS over the years ever since Beckham arrived. I'm very interested in the league. I've always wanted to play here. The soccer is growing a lot and it's a changing a lot, and that's what interested me the most."
