Former Liverpool and Sunderland striker Djibril Cisse is a step closer to a Ligue 1 comeback.
Cisse, 39, is currently on 96 Ligue 1 goals and wants the chance to crack the 100 goal barrier next season.
France Football says former club Dijon are considering making an offer to Cisse to come out of retirement.
Dijon sporting director Peguy Luyindula is close to Cisse and discussing the prospect with club president Olivier Delcourt.
Last week, Cisse declared: "Before AJ Auxerre, I started with Nimes. The circle would be complete. There is also Dijon. I have respect for all the clubs, it would be a great gesture on their part."
