Ex-Juventus defender Iuliano: Not time to spit venom and cause discord

Mark Iuliano has called for unity at Juventus.

The former Juve defender also says coach Max Allegri should stay in charge next season.

He told TuttoJuve: "It's not up to me to comment, my job as a fan is to judge at the end of the championship what has been done. We all know the defects of recent years, I could know them even without watching a match.

"The first of all is the midfield, in practice we are playing without Pogba - who is one of the best in the world - and Fagioli. And we must also consider the fact that many players have pulled the cart without having the appropriate replacements.

"I thank Allegri for what he has done and I will say the same for all those who have passed and who will come, as well as the players, because Juve comes first win and convince, the club is aware of this as are the fans. The managers will always choose the best for these colours.

"Today it is superfluous to talk about anything else, because there are vital objectives to be achieved. This is not the time to spit venom and cause discord, we need to be close to the players so as to cheer for them in order to help them win trophies. I only want the good of the team."
