Everton target Carlo Ancelotti is in talks with a Chinese Super League club.
According to Chinese newspaper The Nanfang Daily, Ancelotti is set to replace Luiz Felipe Scolari at Guangzhou Evergrande.
The 58-year-old was sacked by Bayern Munich last month and he immediately stated his intent to take an extended break from management.
Guangzhou clinched their seventh straight title on Sunday with two games to spare, but it is expected Scolari will leave his position once his contract runs out at the end of the season.
Ancelotti was immediately linked with the Everton job once Ronald Koeman was released on Monday; although the bookies have him ranked as an outside chance to replace the Dutchman.
