Estudiantes chief Juan Veron expects to extend the loan of Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo.

Rojo has only played one game for loan club Estudiantes since securing the temporary move away from United in January.

But former United midfielder Veron expects Rojo's loan to be extended to beyond its current June expiry, due to the coronavirus situation. Whether he stays there permanently remains to be seen.

He told Argentine newspaper El Dia: “He is fine, surely now with all this, Marcos' stay will be extended, because everything stopped."
