Vancouver Whitecaps have signed Crystal Palace midfielder Jordon Mutch.

The 26-year-old midfielder has joined the MLS side on a 12-month deal after struggling for first team football at Selhurst Park.

Whitecaps coach Carl Robinson said: "Jordon is a top midfielder who has played at the highest level.

"He's played against the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United and now he wants to prove himself again in a new environment.

"He likes to get forward, he's full of energy, and he's in the prime of his career.

"We are delighted to have him here."
