Sheffield United have struck terms with KV Mechelen over a fee for Michael Verrips.
The 23 year-old Dutchman quit KVM for the Blades last summer, signing with the Premier League new-boys as a free agent after canceling his contract. Verrips had walked away from Mechelen due to a match-fixing allegation.
KVM quickly lodged a complaint with FIFA, but before the case was to be heard HLN reports the two clubs have settled on an undisclosed fee for the keeper. The agreement will be based on appearances made by Verrips.
Verripshas signed a four-year contract with United at the beginning of the season.
