Former Manchester City and QPR defender Nedem Onuoha has joined Real Salt Lake.

The 31-year-old joined QPR in 2012 and spent six-and-a-half years at the club.

He has signed a deal with the MLS club until next year, with the club having an option to extend it to 2020.

Onuoha had interest from Championship clubs but decided on the move to America.
