Chelsea striker Joao Rodriguez has joined Tenerife.

The Blues are continuing to conduct their transfer business despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding their managerial situation.

Chelsea have announced that Rodriguez will not be at the club next term as he will spend the campaign in Spain.

A club statement read: “Joao Rodriguez will spend the coming season on loan in Spain.

“The 22-year-old striker from Colombia is joining second division side Tenerife, having spent the previous campaign in the second tier in Mexico at Tampico Madero."

Rodriguez, who joined Chelsea in 2013, has had nine loan stints away from Stamford Bridge already and spent last term at Tampico Madero in Mexico.
