Dobson takes charge of Everton loanees role

Martin Dobson has succeeded Joe Royle at Everton as professional development co-ordinator

Royle stood down from role as co-ordinator, charged with checking on the form of players out on loan, in December.

Now one of Royle's old team-mates, affectionately referred to as Dobbo, will monitor the progress of players like Joe Williams (Barnsley), Antonee Robinson and Harry Charsley (Bolton), Matthew Pennington (Leeds), Mo Besic (Middlesbrough), Tyias Browning and Brendan Galloway (Sunderland), Kieran Dowell (Nottingham Forest), Callum Connolly (Ipswich), Louis Gray (Carlisle), Boris Mathis (Northampton).
