Former Italy midfielder Antonio Di Gennaro says Stefano Pioli deserves great credit for his current work with AC Milan.
Di Gennaro was reacting to Milan's draw with SPAL yesterday.
He told TMW, "Playing every three days happens with a game in which you are not at the top.
"(Coach Gigi) Biagio has also changed tactically SPAL, however defeat has been avoided at least.
"I know the value of Pioli, he is doing a double job because in these conditions, with everything already decided, it is not easy. Not much in terms of communication and sensitivity of the club, the AC Milan that I remember was not like that."
Di Gennaro was reacting to claims Ralf Rangnick will replace Pioli as coach at the end of the season.
