Colorado Rapids striker Edson Buddle was on hand to fire the only goal past old club LA Galaxy in his sides 1-0 win on the weekend.
The 32-year old, who has enjoyed two separate spells at the Galaxy, fired home a blistering effort from the top of the 'D' in the 75th minute to stun the home side at the StubHub Center and revelled in the triumph after the match.
"Not only do I like playing [in LA], I like just coming here in general, it's a great city," Buddle told reporters.
"Even before I got [in LA], I always liked playing here. To play here and come back, it's still the same feeling."
He added: "It's been a lot of ups and downs (since the move to Colorado), and just to get going is great.
"To do it on the road in this place is not easy and we just have to build on this and keep going."
