Chelsea fullback Todd Kane has scored his first goal of the season for NEC Nijmegen.

There were mixed emotions for Kane this weekend as his first goal for NEC came in a 3-1 defeat to Utrecht.

The right-back had drawn his side level shortly before the interval, playing a one-two on the edge of the box before smashing home a superb finish from a tight angle, but the concession of two second-half goals saw Nijmegen fall to a loss which sees them drop to ninth place.
