Chelsea defender Malang Sarr's move to Greuther Furth fell through over his wages.
All parties had agreed for Sarr to join the German outfit on a season-long loan, with a medical scheduled for deadline day afternoon on Tuesday.
However, Fussball Transfers reports the move fell through over a disagreement regarding how the two clubs would split Sarr's wages for the season.
Negotiations were so advanced that Sarr was on a flight to Germany before it was decided the transfer was off.
The decision was made at 6pm with Nick Viergever joining Greuther Furth from PSV Eindhoven instead.
