Chelsea have secured a £35 million deal for Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile.

The 21-year-old will have a medical ahead of signing his contract with the Stamford Bridge club.

Per The Mirror, the Blues are set to add the French international to their squad immediately to ensure that no other club secures his signature.

Ideally, Graham Potter's side would have waited until the summer, but they have pushed ahead with the deal.

Another signing that Chelsea could make is 18-year-old Vasco da Gama midfielder Andrey Santos.

The Brazilian has also undergone a medical and will sign his deal in the coming days.
