Carolina RailHawks have added two players prior to the international transfer window closing.
Costa Rican forward Cesar Elizondo and Scottish defender Kevin Rutkiewicz have both been signed by the NASL club pending USSF approval and ITC receipt.
"Cesar and Kevin will be great additions to the squad and give us attacking and defending options going into a very important part of the season," said RailHawks head coach Colin Clarke.
"Kevin is an experienced defender who has played at a high level in Scotland and will compete for a spot on the back line. Cesar is a talented midfielder I have followed for a few years and brings experience competing at the international level."
25-year old Elizondo has previously played for Costa Rican side Deportivo Saprissa and has made 10 appearances for the Costa Rican national team whilst Rutkiewicz joins from Scottish club Greenock Morton after stints with Aberdeen, St Johnstone and Dunfermline Athletic.
