Huddersfield Town midfielder Phil Billing was pleased to kickoff their preseason with victory at Bury.

The Terriers enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 win.

Billing told HTTV: “After a good break, which we had this summer, it's important to get a quick game in like today; we've only been back a week.

“To have the first game today helps a lot to get the touch back, get comfortable on the ball again and to play against another team.

“Games like these help you get the match fitness in because you can't really compare training to games to be honest because of the intensity and everything.

“It's important for the whole team and for every player to get the games in; to get the first 45 minutes in today was very good.

“Everybody looks sharp so far and have come back in very good shape; we looked very strong today."
