Arsenal striker Lucas Perez is wanted in Portugal by Benfica.

Currently on-loan with Deportivo La Coruna, Lucas is expected to be sent back to Arsenal at the end of this season.

La Voz de Galicia says Benfica are keen to take the Spaniard off Arsenal's hands.

A new loan arrangement is likely, with his agent admitting Benfica cannot afford to cover Lucas' current wages.

Rodrigo Lovelle told O Jogo: "The Portuguese clubs cannot pay the three million euros net that he receives and will not budge on. For the Portuguese reality, it can only fit in the scope of a loan."
