Bastia are challenging Liverpool for Aston Villa fullback Jordan Amavi.

Foot Mercato says his quality has not gone unnoticed with Liverpool, AC Milan and Lyon being credited with interest in the 22-year-old.

And Bastia have now expressed an interest in Amavi.

However, they will face competition from Jurgen Klopp's Reds who are keen on striking a deal to bring the Frenchman to Anfield.

Liverpool representatives have already contacting his agent to discuss a deal.
