Sky Sports reports that Arsenal have NOT contacted Patrick Vieira about the possibility of filling the club's managerial position in the summer.

With Arsene Wenger set to depart the Emirates Stadium club after 22 glittering seasons, Vieira is seen as one of the replacements by bookmakers and pundits.

However, Sky believes there hasn't been any contact between the parties. But it does not mean he is outside the club's consideration.

They are looking at other coaches for the position too. The likes of Carlo Ancelotti, Thomas Tuchel and Mikel Arteta are being mentioned. There are even some suggestions that former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers could get the nod.
