Arsenal defender Jakob Kiwior admits he could've joined West Ham before his January arrival.

The young Pole signed for the Gunners in the winter market from Spezia.

He recalled Wprost: "I had an offer from West Ham United before Arsenal which I turned down.

"Arsenal weren't on the table but then they came along and that was something special for me."

The defender signed for the Gunners in a £21million transfer from Spezia in January.
