Hajduk Split teenage midfielder Nikola Vlasic is a target for Arsenal.

The 17-year-old is one of the most highly-rated prospects in Eastern Europe after breaking into Hajduk's first team this season.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger's extensive scouting network has reportedly identified the Split-born starlet as one for the future and TMW says the club will go head-to-head with Inter Milan for his signature.

Croatian giants Hajduk are determined to keep hold of Vlasic in January but are content to sell him next summer if their valuation, believed to be just under £1m, is met.
