Former Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin has vowed to continue supporting a local food bank.
The French attacker has signed for Al-Ahli in a big money deal to help the Magpies ease Financial Fair Play concerns.
While Saint-Maximin will no longer be in Tyneside, he is still loyal to charities in the region.
"A special player & special person. Allan Saint-Maximin will be missed at @NUFC on & off the pitch," NUFC Fans Food Bank tweeted.
"He messaged to help two days after signing for Newcastle visited @NCLFoodBank soon after & made everyone's day, raised awareness & donated money. Thanks and good luck for the future Allan."
"That's the least I could do, it's nothing compared to what you guys are accomplishing," replied Saint-Maximin.
"Know that I will still be there for you even though I'm not in Newcastle anymore."
