The agent of Inter Milan defender Francesco Acerbi says they want to keep hold of the on-loan Lazio stopper.

However, Federico Pastorello says they'll seek to talk down Acerbi's €10m permanent option.

“There is a set option to buy, but fundamentally it was just put there without much negotiation, as we knew it could be discussed later," agent Pastorello told Tuttomercatoweb.

“In my view, it would be better for the two clubs to set a more suitable fee. I am not of course referring to the value of the player, because if Acerbi was 10 years younger, he'd be worth €50m.

“When you are about to turn 35, it's unlikely Inter in their current circumstances will want to invest €4m. I remain confident in the good common sense of all involved. After all, Acerbi already knew Simone Inzaghi well and is impressing at Inter.

“We just need to all sit down at the end of the season and discuss the way around this."
