Adriano Correia has welcomed fellow Brazilian Douglas to Barcelona.
The fullback signed for Barca last month from Sao Paulo.
"He's great footballer, he's got plenty of qualities I wasn't surprised at all when we signed Douglas. He's a fine addition to the team, but he will need some time to adapt We need to talk to him every day to make sure he integrates into the club as quickly as possible."
Adriano also revealed: "This summer I received offers to leave Barça, but I have always made it clear that I intend to stay here."
