Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has promised that he will be back to his best next term.

Injuries and periods out of the starting lineup have disrupted Jesus' season so far.

While he still hopes to play a role in their title quest, he knows that next season will be the moment for him to shine.

“This season has been tough – I missed pre-season, had surgery again and then had a couple more injuries," he stated this week.

“I'm doing my best to help the team, and hoping to stay fit so I can do a full pre-season this summer. Then it's a different story."

Arsenal take on Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday, as they look to remain top of the table.
