Bosz: PSV and staff want Dest to stay - despite knee setback

PSV Eindhoven coach Peter Bosz admits they want to keep hold of Sergino Dest.

The Barcelona fullback is on-loan at PSV this season and has just suffered a knee injury.

Bosz said, "I speak on behalf of myself and my staff: I would very much like to have him still with us. He has adapted well to our game system, he is a great person and has bonded with his teammates.

"He's played well all season, that's why we want to keep him. The same goes for the club, actually: I think they'd like him to stay too. Dest has made 37 appearances for PSV this season, scoring two goals and providing seven assists.

“He would like us to be able to explain what is happening and what the plans are. I think that will happen soon," Bosz said. "After he communicated the extent of the injury to his teammates, there was a dead silence and I think that says it all. It was terrible."
